Level 1 – Provides the 7 Fundamentals moves we need to start our Lambazouk journey. They are based on our Dance Calligraphy ABC — Lines, Circles and Diagonals curriculum.

Level 1.5 – Each cycle includes connection drills, body-awareness technique, and variations of our fundamental movements based on these 3 Alphabets, helping you develop a creative appreciation for the foundations and how to use them throughout your dancing journey with curiosity and playfulness.

Expands on new technique and variations of the movements ("words) already learned, plus new ones adding to your vocabulary.

You will begin to build longer “sentences” in your dancing while adding texture and expression.

These classes are designed to challenge Level 1 & Level 2 students while offering an opportunity to connect the dots in their Dance Calligraphy journey. They are also great for dancers who already have some experience in other partner dances and want to adapt those skills to Lambazouk.

This complementary class works alongside the Wednesday Level 1 & Level 2 classes. Each month we focus on a specific set of movements and their applications within our fundamental structures and patterns.

While dancers are welcome to join, Level 1 and 2 classes are strongly recommended in order to fully understand the flow of the dance and the construction of “sentences” within our movement language.

Adding new flavors to your movement is essential for any social dancer. The spice and richness of Latin dances feed the soul and they’re a must for our monthly Lambazouk Latin socials.

These classes focus on the fundamentals and techniques that make Bachata and Salsa so special, giving you a solid foundation while keeping the experience fun, musical, and expressive.

You’ll build an essential toolkit to feel confident, connected, and ready to enjoy any social dance floor.
